Relax and break up tension with Massage Treatment

Massages can be very beneficial for relaxation and breaking the tension built up in our bodies. Taking 15 minutes out of your day to relax, breathe, and do some light massaging can aid in some much needed stress-relief. Massaging doesn’t have to be intricate or extensive, just a little can go a long way. Perhaps applying a nice skincare sheet mask and using a jade roller or gua-sha tool to lightly massage your face can help to relax and destress after a long day. Applying some pressure to your temples can also help to relieve the tension in your head.

After a long day of typing or writing, it can be very beneficial to massage the pressure point right in between your thumb and index finger on your hand. Massaging this area can sometimes feel a little painful the more pressure you apply, but it is breaking up the tension that’s stuffed in that area.

Taking some time to massage your neck and hands can help to aid in relaxation. Using some lotions, serums, or oils can aid in this process as well. The neck is one of the most common places for stress tension to be stored, so breaking up some of that tension can definitely feel like self care.

No matter what life throws at you, it is important to take care of yourself. Allow some time during the week to listen to your favorite music and massage those areas that cause you pain.
